What am I doing here you ask yourself? Well for this crazy Frenchmen DJ Dimitri From Paris at (Mandarin Grooviness) at Orange Room at Guvernment.- it was his usual fresh set last night. The music was funky, filled with energy, pretty with a real foxy quality, a rump shakin good time.Oh and sexy crowd...mmmm lovely, both guys and gals. Still processing, still recovering, and still mulling over the evening. Highlights included many of the fresh songs I blogged on my playlist. Tomorrow evening, Armand Van Helden @ Guvernment looking forward to him twiddling some knobs and working the decks. Tonight, hanging out, getting a vibe on, walking the streets, having plenty of coffee and meeting the people that make this city so damn great. Peace. The Cindy Sherman chick, the one with the chopped up wig hair has flipped out. 9:50 this morning, the professor was droning on about religious orders; I noticed that Cindy was pulling a huge �ziploc bag filled with candy corn out of her coffee stained purse. She proceeded to dump the contents onto her desk until the entire surface was covered. She ate sugary nib after sugary nib in a carnivorous manner, mashing the little niblets into her lipstick stained mouth. Munching, cramming, munching, munching, cramming it's 9:57 please stop, please.... Stop Cindy! I'm gonna get sick and 'buy it'. I am transported back to a nasty breakfast at 'Lucky's' in Dallas, the Texas heat, the nasty syrup laden pecan french toast, a southern specialty. I would rather have a hot fork jammed in my mouth...I just want Cindy to stop....
