Once a heavily guarded secret in Imperial China, many American school children were needlessly brainwashed by info-mercials into using the system known as Chisenbop, digit dancing and monkey bites soon put an end to this form of mass hysteria.

If you want to know all about Andy Warhol, just look at the surface of my paintings and films and me, and there I am. There's nothing behind it.'. Andy Warhol at the Tate Museum. From early experiments with hand-painted pop drawings to provocative portraits of car crashes to iconographic images of Marilyn Monroe, Experience this giant retrospective room by room -- you'll soon realize how influential he was in art and popular culture. For a historical perspective on Warhol's work and life, check out the detailed timeline. You can even submit your own photo to be "Warholized." Andy would have loved that KMart is using the Nico/Velvet Underground song 'These Days' in their new round of commercials. Also 'Factory' star Mary Waranov (Mary Bland from Eating Raoul/ Miss Evelyn Togar from Rock-N-Roll High School) has her own site with some great stills from an early Warhol screen test with Gerard Melanga.

NON-sense and sensuality, silence and surrealism, 'Desire Unbound' at the Met. I'll take a side order of dreams oh so sweet, as shooting locale for an Andre Breton production. Calgon take me away, this is my Campbells Soup commercial, it feels great to come in out of the cold, take the hottest longest shower ever and let go of the day. Sitting in a towel while home made egg plant parmigiana reheats in the oven, the gravy/sauce is a closely guarded secret and comes wafting up out of the kitchen. Steaming hot cup of tea, I refuse to shave tonight, I will turn off the phone and relax. Do you really think American culture is on the skids, rattle and hum, rattle and hum, for so long it seemed as if very little changed after September 11th. Sure you had the absurd proclamation that irony is dead, and blowing up buildings is now banned in Hollywood movies, but if you put your ear to the tracks you can hear the desire growing, so trade in your garish glitz for something more modest.

Punk Rock Boy Fest. I STINK! I smell all sexy and fucked up, incense peppermints cigarettes booze and candy. I work like a fugitive in the cover of the night eyeing those experimental boys with freshly shaved heads, wearing leather, smoking Marlboros and generally being 'bad'. Malfeasant slammers atomic drop kick like vivid angels. Raucous Agent Orange set and a dive into the Reverend Horton Heat show. Girls set their stun guns on rapid fire release and super destroyer Bettie Page looks. Poker up Front, Liquor in the Rear. Tonight La Dolce Vita is a magic dance as all those boys were falling like an avalanche.
