So much to accomplish today, my head is on spin-cycle with a microwave migraine. I can see some urban scrawl from my window which reads 'Anonymous Lust'. It's not exactly graffiti but a stencil. More urban scrawl/public lettering/signage from neighborhoods much nicer than mine.

Guaranteed commuter fun, Soviet's performance was refreshing electro-knob tweeking synth-pop. Dare I say Gary Numan meets China Crisis? Strong songwriting. Girly bandmate played my old synth, the rather retro Roland SH-101, a non-programmable dinosaur that has to be adjusted manually, settings were written on handy index cards. Catch them in Montreal on the 21st at La Salla Rosa, the 22nd in Toronto at The Opera House, rounding out their mini-tour at Brownies on Avenue A (Between 10th and 11th) on the 30th. Sadly this is the last show at the ol' Brownies.
