Hillary Clinton Mash-Up

A rather clever video that was recently posted on YouTube mashes a 1984 Apple advertisement with recent footage of Hillary Clinton. According to Josh Marshall at Talking Points Memo, the video was made by a Barack Obama supporter and not a member of his campaign. It urges you to “vote different”. Check out the update to the hammer throwing woman, she’s wearing an ipod, what about the Obama logo reimagined as the Apple Logo? First spotted over at Huff-Po.

So what’s the real difference between 1984, Blade Runner, and any Gibson Novel? Where’s the impeachment? Why are all the good changes “incremental” while all our catastrophies are “revolutionary”.

Jocko, Apple re-issued this commercial (internet-only) with the iPod in it soon after the iPod release. Or soon after it became a huge seller. But for putting the Obama logo on the shirt, kudos to masher!

the ipod and earphones on the chick means that he used the 2004 commercial, where they updated her. i love how by compiling hillary’s platitudes she sounds like total propaganda.
